The Giant Panda of Mount Junpaku are characterized by their immense strength and durability as well as the black fur markings over their faces, the shape of which are unique to each member. Despite their natural resistance to physical damage, however, they are lazy creatures, spending the majority of their days feasting in the bountiful bamboo forests permeating nearly every inch of their homeland.
Beyond the sage of the giant pandas, Kyuushi, there is little to no hierarchy to their species; though all pandas respect and obey the great sage, they hold little interest in one another and only gather together on the rarest of occasions. They are an easygoing, aloof group of creatures with a shared disinterest in all else excluding their own indulgences. Less peaceful than they are simply staunchly adverse to involving themselves in conflicts not pertaining to them, they offer their services on the condition that they never be summoned for trivial purposes---this meaning anything short of a life and death situation.
The symbol of the ninja-panda is the kanji character for ‘Bamboo’ (竹, Take). It can be found emblazoned on their articles of clothing, and etched boldly in massive characters on the mountain entrance to the sage’s dwelling.
