Missions
Mission objectives range from helping the everyday citizen to escort important figures to espionage and assassinations. The complexity of missions scale with its rank, though, these different objectives can be found throughout each level. However, mission objectives such as assassination and infiltration are typically restricted to B-Rank and above. For the most part, completion of these objectives will require critical thinking, as what seems to be the simplest of assignments can turn into a dire situation at a moment’s notice. If you wish to submit a mission, speak to your village leader about the details beforehand.
Ranks
The difficultly of missions within each rank vary, with each entailing very different completion objectives. Obviously, the higher the rank, the more difficult it is and more danger there is posed to the life of the shinobi.D-Rank: Assigned to genin fresh from the Academy. They pose almost no risk to the ninja's life and usually consist of odd jobs like farming and babysitting work.
C-Rank: Assigned to more experienced genin or chuunin. They are missions anticipated to have some combat involved with the possibility of injury to the shinobi performing it. Examples are guarding people, background investigations, or capturing or suppressing wild animals.
B-Rank: Assigned to experienced chunin. They are missions anticipated to involve combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or killing other ninja.
A-Rank: Assigned to jounin, concerning, among other things, village-or state-level matters and trends. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces.

Participating
In order to take on a mission, there must be at least two participants in the writing: one player acting as the character completing the missions and the other as the foil. This applies to all missions, not simply those with two characters on opposite sides. Though it is highly advised that you assemble teams for each mission, it is not required; you can, however, expect solo missions to be exponentially more difficult.Missions can be taken by player-characters only, and you may only be involved in one mission at a time. The highest rank of mission available to you is determined by your character’s rank; you are allowed to take on missions at least one rank above your character’s, though, you can typically expect these to be exponentially more difficult for your character to accomplish.
Post which mission you would like to take and list all participants involved in the submission thread for your village. Evaluation of total mission success, whether it is completed or failed, is determined the same as any other writing---by your grader who will determine the amount of Ryo you will receive.
Mission attempts must be approved by either the Kage, the village elders, or the highest ranking jounin; it is not necessary to write this in-game. You simply need to notify them beforehand. And, yes, they have a right to deny you.
