VILLAGE HIDDEN BY WATERFALLS
Located in the northwestern region between the Land of Fire and the Land of Earth, it is purportedly the birthplace of the Ninshuu, a fact widely believed throughout the Land of Waterfalls. The placcid atmosphere throughout the pastoral landscape lends to its majesty and almost mythologic history. It is known for its many historic temples and ancient landmarks, being home to many migrant religious folk from all corners of the world whom gather to share and spread their teachings amongst one another and neophytes.
There is an unspoken rule throughout all countries that no conflicts are to take place there nor impede or impose upon the way of life of its people. Throughout the many intense conflicts of the past, this mandate has been honored by all nations.
In spite of its passiveness, the country is home to a hidden village serving as protectors of the people and its folk. In contrast to the contractors that other villages are composed, Takigakure makes it living by receiving portions of the donations made to the country's many temples. It is the only country outside of the five majors to have a hidden village leader with the title of Kage, known as the Takikage (滝影; Literally meaning “Waterfall Shadow”).
Though the population of Takigakure is considerably infinitesimal as compared to those of the five majors, they are known to be particularly skilled in the use of sealing techniques, making them extremely versed in ninjutsu and undoubtedly formidable.
Of the four known Takikage, all have been hosts to the Seven-Tailed Beetle, with each host famously known for having complete control over the beast sealed inside them. How the beast came into their possession is unknown, though, the previous host of the Seven Tails is known to have been a former vassal of the Land of Fire daimyou during the Warring States Period.
