Advanced nature transformations are extremely versatile in that each combine the advantages of the basic chakra natures they are composed of.

For instance, Fire Release techniques are unique because their abilities can be streamed from round to round without pause, allowing for a continuous and effective assault. Unlike any other nature, Earth Release techniques can be spawned from the ground up, allowing the user to attack anything within range. The Lava Release, which combines Fire Release and Earth Release, presents the user with both of these advantages.

Secondly, as each basic nature transformation is performed in punctuation with a specific hand seal, an advanced nature transformation can be performed with either of the identifying seals of its composite natures. This leaves less room for opponents to predict oncoming attacks, allowing for the element of surprise.

Boil Release (Fire + Water) → Ram + Tiger
Ice Release (Water + Wind) → Dog + Ram
Lava Release (Earth + Fire) → Snake + Tiger
Magnet Release (Lightning + Wind) → Dog + Monkey
Scorch Release (Fire + Wind) → Dog + Tiger
Storm Release (Lightning + Water) → Monkey + Ram
Wood Release (Earth + Water) → Ram + Snake

All advanced nature techniques are equipped to the Kekkei Genkai stat.

Acquiring Advanced Nature Transformations:

There are two ways which players can acquire advanced nature transformations, with each having its benefit and drawback.

The more extensive yet worthwhile route is in attaining the two basic nature which comprise the compound nature. Your affinity nature is unlocked after reaching 5,000 Chakra Control and 2,500 Ninjutsu. Access to a second nature is unlocked after reaching 15,000 Chakra Control and 7,500 Ninjutsu. From there, the user is then granted the advanced nature which these two basic natures are comprised of.

The quickest route is through your clan having an advanced nature transformation as its bloodline limit. In this, the user is able to achieve the advanced nature by reaching 10,000 Kekkei Genkai. This unlocks the advanced nature, but not its composite natures. Meaning, if your clan's bloodline limit is Ice Release, you get Ice Release---not Water Release and Wind Release with it.

In addition to mastering two different types of chakra natures, the user has attained a masterful level of chakra control that allows them to perfectly combine the two into an advanced nature. Access to equipping and submitting techniques for the specific advanced chakra nature opens up at this point.

The two basic chakra natures must be each be one of the two comprising natures of the advanced nature in question.

For clans with elemental bloodline limits, advanced natures are achieved after reaching 10,000 Kekkei Genkai. This does not give access to its composite natures.
